
Curfew & Check-out
Our curfew is 11:00 PM.
The main entrance will be locked at 11:00 PM.
* The B1F entrance will be locked after the restaurant closes.
Please be sure to return to the hotel by 11:00 PM when going out.
Check-out time is 10:00 AM.
Luggage storage and shipping arrangements after check-out are available at the front desk.

No Smoking
Our entire facility, including all guest rooms, is non-smoking.
Please refrain from smoking anywhere inside the building, including guest rooms and hallways. This also applies to heated tobacco and electronic cigarettes.
If you wish to smoke, outdoor smoking areas are available near the 1st floor entrance and the B1 floor entrance.
* Not available after 11:00 PM.
* If smoking or possession of cigarette ashes is detected inside the building, a cleaning and damage fee of 100,000 yen will be charged.
Please note that if the room cannot be sold due to lingering odor, additional compensation for lost revenue during the closure period will also be required.

Emergency Exits
Information on emergency exit locations is posted on the inside of your guest room door.
Please take a moment to check it for your safety.

Room Key
The guest room doors are equipped with an automatic locking system.
Please remember to take your key with you when leaving the room.
While staying in the room, please insert the wooden key tag into the slot located near the door.
Up to two keys can be issued per room.
Please handle them with care to avoid loss.
① Insert the key into the keyhole.
② Turn the key in the direction indicated by the arrow sticker above the keyhole.
③ When you hear a “click,” keep the key turned fully and push the door.

Yukata (Room Wear)
The yukata is stored in the drawer inside the closet.
You may wear your yukata and slippers when visiting Kasui-an (restaurant), Sarano-ki (gift shop), and KARIN (café).
If you would like a larger or smaller size, or if you need a children’s yukata (medium: approx. 100–110 cm / large: approx. 120–130 cm in height), please contact the front desk.

Housekeeping for Consecutive Night Stays
For guests staying two nights or more, housekeeping will be conducted daily between 10:00 AM and around 1:00 PM.
If you do not wish to have your room cleaned, please use the door sign or inform the front desk.

Japanese Restaurant “Kasui-an”
The restaurant “Kasui-an” is located on the B1 floor.
You may enter wearing your yukata and slippers.

● Breakfast 7:00–10:30 (Last order 10:00)
● Lunch 11:30–14:30 (Last order 14:00)
● Dinner 17:30–21:00 (Last order 20:30)
Please be sure to arrive before the last order time.
If you would like to add breakfast, please contact Kasui-an (Ext. 101) or the front desk (Ext. 9) by 8:00 PM on the previous day.
* Please note that entry may not be available on the day depending on restaurant circumstances.
The breakfast fee is 2,500 yen per person (tax included). A children’s menu is also available.

Large Public Bath
The large public bath is located on the B2 floor.

● Evening 15:00–23:00
● Morning 6:00–9:00
* Towels, yukata, and amenities are not provided in the bath area.
Please bring them from your guest room.
* If you would like skincare amenities, please contact the front desk.
To ensure everyone enjoys a pleasant bathing experience, please follow the rules below when using the public bath.
Bathing Etiquette
○ Please enter the bath corresponding to your gender.
○ Refrain from using smartphones or mobile devices in the changing room or bath area.
○ Remove all clothing before entering the bathing area. Swimwear is not allowed.
○ Wash your body thoroughly before entering the bath.
○ Do not let your hair touch the bath water.
○ Do not place towels in the bath water.
○ Do not wash clothes in the bath area.
○ Do not swim in the bathtub.
○ Please dry your body before returning to the changing room.
○ Guests with tattoos should cover them before entering the bath.

Chion-in Morning Buddhism Ceremony
“Jinjo Hoyo”
A guidance announcement will be broadcast to your room at 5:50 AM every morning.
If you gather near the front desk on the 1st floor by 6:10 AM, our staff will guide you to the hall in the Chion-in temple grounds where the ceremony is held.
Chion-in opens at 6:00 AM, and the ceremony in the Amidado Hall begins at 6:30 AM.
Photography is strictly prohibited inside the hall.
Please also set your smartphones and other devices to silent mode.

Staff will guide you on the way to the temple, but return guidance is not provided.
Please enjoy your time freely, such as taking a walk around the temple grounds after the ceremony.
A volume control dial is located on the wall in your room. You may adjust it as needed (the default setting is “1”).
If you turn the dial to “OFF,” the announcement will not play, allowing you to rest peacefully.


Use of Mobile Batteries
For your safety and comfort during your stay, we kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation regarding the use of mobile batteries (rechargeable batteries using lithium-ion cells) in guest rooms.
Important Notes on Using Mobile Batteries
1. Please unplug mobile batteries when leaving your room.
To reduce the risk of fire or malfunction during charging, please refrain from charging batteries while you are away.
2. Please be careful about where you charge your battery.
Avoid charging near windows exposed to direct sunlight, curtains, beds, sheets, or other flammable materials.
3. Always monitor the battery while charging.
If you notice excessive heat, smoke, unusual odors, or changes in shape, stop using the battery immediately and move it to a safe location.
4. Do not use damaged or abnormal batteries.
If a battery shows cracks, deformation, swelling, or becomes excessively hot, please discontinue use.
5. Handling during housekeeping
During housekeeping for consecutive stays, if any of the above conditions are observed, our staff may move mobile batteries or similar devices to ensure safety. Thank you for your understanding.
6. Additional requests
Please dispose of used or old batteries properly and do not discard them casually as general waste.
In the event of a fire or other emergency, please follow the hotel’s evacuation instructions promptly and prioritize your safety.
